Material
open cell EPDM-foam rubber, color black, density 0,09 +/-0,02g/cm³,
self-adhesive on one side as a mounting aid.
Surface
large-, open-cell structure without outer skin, cut from blocks into strips, with self-adhesive coating and cover film on one side
Features
Can be used in a variety of ways for permanent installation, for sealing, damping and insulating, e.g. against draughts, moisture, heat, cold and noise. Very light, flexible and adaptable, highly compressible with good resilience, decreasing with increasing load intensity and frequency. Good resistance to ozone and numerous other media, resistant to various diluted acids and weak alkalis. Not or moderately resistant to oils and greases.
