The qualities listed below are only a simplified overview of this stock list. Numerous special cases and many possible but not stocked qualities were disregarded and only a few essential features were mentioned. The overview serves as an initial guide. Please also note the information on the data sheets, quality descriptions, test reports, etc.

PE579
Polyethylene foam, good resistance to weathering and ageing, good resistance to numerous oils, greases, acids and alkalis, moderately resistant to UV rays, moisture and rot-proof, temperature-resistant up to ca. +80°C, Standard color anthracite, density ca. 0.03g/cm³
PUR566
Polyurethane ester foam, good ageing resistance, temperature resistant up to ca. +100°C, standard color dark grey, density ca. 0.028g/cm³
PUR568
Impregnated polyurethane ester foam, good resistance to weathering and ageing, compatible with most building materials, root-resistant, non-flammable (B1) when compressed by at least 50%, temperature-resistant up to ca. +120°C, standard color anthracite, density ca. 0.15/cm³
EPDM
Ethylene-propylene terpolymer, as rubber or sponge rubber profile or sheet, very good resistance to weathering, ageing, UV and ozone, good resistance to numerous acids and alkalis, not resistant to mineral oils, depending on the mixture, temperature-resistant up to ca.+100° or +120°C, not adhesive-friendly without special glue, standard color black or grey
CR
Chloroprene rubber, as rubber or foam rubber profile, good resistance to weathering, ageing, UV and ozone, good resistance to numerous acids and alkalis, resistant to grease and mineral oils, depending on the mixture, temperature-resistant up to ca. +90° or +110°C, adhesive-friendly, standard color black
NBR
Nitrile butadiene rubber, as rubber or foam rubber profile, resistant to ageing, not weather-resistant, moderately resistant to most acids and alkalis, good resistance to fats, numerous oils and petrols, depending on the mixture, temperature-resistant up to ca. +80° or +100°C, adhesive-friendly, standard color black or grey
NR/SBR
Natural/styrene-butadiene rubber, as rubber or sponge rubber profile, resistant to acetone and alcohol, moderately resistant to acids and alkalis and most chemical compounds, not weather-resistant, very good elasticity, abrasion, tensile and tear-resistant, flexible at low temperatures, temperature-resistant up to ca. +70°C, adhesive-friendly, standard color beige or black
FKM (Viton®)
Fluorocarbon polymer, as rubber or sponge rubber profile, resistant to weathering and ageing, very good resistance to acids, alkalis, greases, oils and numerous chemical compounds, depending on the mixture, temperature-resistant up to ca. 275°C, low elasticity, good mechanical features, not adhesive-friendly, standard color black

Butyl
Butyl rubber, unvulcanized, as round or square profile, good ageing resistance, limited weather resistance, not UV-resistant, permanently plastic, volume-resistant, deformable, self-welding, temperature-resistant up to ca.+100°C, depending on the mixture also up to ca.+180°C for short periods, permanently adhesive on all sides, standard color dark grey
Silicone
Methylvinylpolysiloxane, as silicone or silicone foam profile, very good resistance to weathering, ageing, UV and ozone, depending on the mixture, temperature-resistant up to ca. 200° or 280°C, physiologically pure and bacteriologically indifferent, in many cases food-safe, can only be bonded with silicone adhesive, standard colors: translucent, black, grey, white, can be easily dyed in many colors
Soft PVC
Polyvinyl chloride, as soft PVC profile with or without steel insert, good resistance to weathering and ageing, not resistant to oils and greases, temperature-resistant up to ca. +60°C, cold- and heat-sensitive, abrasion-resistant, standard color black, grey and white
